LINCOLN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE: FOLLOW SPEED LIMITS IN WORK ZONES
LINCOLN COUNTY – On Monday April 14, a Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy on patrol was approached by a highway worker near MM225 of USH 51 in the Town of Bradley. The worker expressed concerns about traffic not slowing down in the work zone.
With summer coming soon, work zones will continue to become more prevalent across central WI. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is reminding motorists that while driving through a work zone they need to remember that people are at work trying to make our roads safer, and as such they deserve to work in a safe environment as well.
The complaint lodged by the highway worker has prompted the sheriff’s office to remain vigilant with targeted enforcement in work zone areas.
